Like many of people, we are busy with family, careers and the tasks of everyday life. If you are on the run and do not have the time to cook, here are two recipes for dinner that the whole family will enjoy!

Thai Chicken Salad Wrap


1 Cup peanut butter

½ Cup coconut milk

¼ Cup rice wine vinegar

½ Tsp red pepper flakes

¼ Cup shredded carrots

½ Bunch of fresh cilantro chopped

2 Cooked chicken breasts diced

Directions: Use any wrap that you like.  Combine all salad ingredients together and season with salt. Heat the wraps (on medium saucepan or in microwave). Pile diced chicken and salad into wraps. Slice in half on an angle and serve.  Hearty Lentil Soup or Potato Salad makes a great addition to this meal.

Flank Steak Marinade


½ Cup red wine

1 Cup Worcestershire

1 Cup soy sauce

¾ Cup chopped garlic

1 ½ Cups salad oil

1 medium onion julienne

1Tbsp. black pepper

2 Tbsp. koser salt

Directions: Combine everything in the blender and pour over the steak.  Marinate at least 6 hours, but best to leave in the refrigerator overnight.  Grill the steak 5 to 7 minutes per side or until done.  Transfer the steak to a plate and let stand for 5 minutes before carving.  Cut the steak diagonally and serve with any extra marinade. A salad and a vegetable such as steamed broccoli florets make as a delicious side dish.
