Food Brings Hope is a non-profit that provides assistance for hundreds of homeless and economically disadvantaged children in Volusia and Flagler counties. She founded the program after meeting homeless children in the school system who were friends of her daughters.

The students who attended were from Campbell Middle, Champion Elementary, Taylor Middle, Ormond Beach Middle, New Smyrna Beach Middle and Holly Hill School.
Forough Hosseini said the TeenZone field trip was focused specifically for middle school students. It’s a resource for them to learn about different construction careers offered within their community. It also gives some students a direction to consider when they attend local high schools that offer trade based learning.
