Ready for a new custom Florida home in the Daytona Beach area? Come on over! It’s our hometown and we at ICI Homes are happy to guide you through the communities where we do our thing.

Although we’ve built all over the state for almost four decades, we’re always excited about growth in our own backyard. And we heartily recommend the Daytona Beach area as a cool place to live, work or retire.

Hopefully you’ve downloaded our handy brochure about the communities where we’re active. It’s quick and helpful look at each’s communities features. If you haven’t grabbed it using the form on this blog, do so, then allow us to introduce you to Daytona Beach proper.

Daytona Beach is more than one town

Known as “DAB” to many locals, it’s actually a collective of several east-central Florida beach towns and municipalities just inland from the Intracoastal Waterway Daytona Beach Pierand Atlantic Ocean beaches.

Of course, there’s Daytona Beach itself, home of the “World’s Most Famous Beach,” historic Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR. At the time of this writing, numerous retail, dining and residential projects are sprouting throughout “DAB,” which is great news for home buyers seeking a classic Florida beach lifestyle with state-of-the-art services and entertainment.

We’ll take you on a quick tour of the Daytona Beach-area communities where you can find ICI Homes.

Palm Coast

Seeking seclusion, yet an easy commute south to Daytona Beach’s many activities and offerings? Palm Coast is a mere 30 miles north from “DAB” on Interstate 95, Florida’s east-coast artery.

Quiet beaches and extensive network of fitness trails and parks, attract folks to this tranquil town. Here, you’ll find ICI Homes in The Conservatory at Hammock Beach, a beautiful, well-established, gated community home to the award-winning Tom Watson signature designed Conservatory Course and Clubhouse.

Ormond Beach

Ormond Beach is an excellent choice if you’d like to be nearer Daytona Beach than Palm Coast. Six miles north, it’s known as the “Birthplace of Speed” thanks to the land-speed records set on its wide, hard-packed beaches beginning at the turn of the 20th century. The WWII Watchtower in Ormond Beach

Today Ormond Beach is a compact beach town with abundant natural beauty thanks to numerous state parks and preserves. You’ll find our exclusive Plantation Bay a mere 10 minutes from those Atlantic beaches. It offers three (!) golf courses and a wealth of amenities.

Next is Verona Oceanside, located in Ormond by the Sea. This unique community is ICI Homes’ only beachside community at the time of this writing. This sought-after community offers luxury townhomes and single family homes with direct ocean access  at the historic World War II Watchtower on A1A.

Port Orange

If you’re seeking a bit more bustle, consider The Estates at Brown’s Landing and Woodhaven, both of which are in Port Orange just four miles south of Daytona Beach. Voted Second Safest City in Florida by Safewise.com, it’s easy to see why so many people want to call Port Orange their Home!

Woodhaven is a growing gated community that boasts low-maintenance townhomes and single-family homes in a prized school district. With it’s second phase, Spruce Lakes, now selling, now is the perfect time to build the custom home of your dreams.

The Estates Brown’s Landing features estate-style homes on an historic tract formally owned by the Brown family of Daytona Beach.
