2020 Northeast Florida Parade of Homes Award Winners
The 2020 Northeast Florida Parade of Homes awards are in! Better known as “Parade of Homes Jax,” this event was held from August 29th – September 13th, after being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although Parade of Homes events around the country were held a little differently this year, ICI Homes is proud to have been able to participate in our local events.
This year, instead of a traditional in-person awards banquet, the awards were announced virtually. The great thing about this is that we are able to share our part of the virtual awards banquet with you! ICI Homes won four awards in the 2020 Northeast Florida Parade of Homes. Three of our model homes took home Silver awards and one was given the distinguished honor of receiving a Gold award. This year, though, we had something else to celebrate aside from our award-winning model homes. Our home buyers were featured as the cover story for the Parade of Homes Jax magazine!
The Capri at Nobel in eTown
The Capri is one of our smaller models, coming in at 1,808 square feet. But bigger doesn’t always mean better, and this award-winning plan proves that! The Capri won the Silver award in the $385-400K price range. And, it is a perfect fit for our 40′ lots in Nobel at eTown.
Enter through the foyer from the garage or front entry way and be lead into a multi-functional flex space. In the Nobel model, this room is arranged as an elegant and comfortable seating area. To the left of the flex room, two guest bedrooms, a bathroom, and a laundry room are conveniently tucked away.
Straight ahead, you’ll find a study tucked to the side of the beautiful open kitchen, living, and dining space. The large master bedroom and bathroom are located at the back of the house. To finish it off, the Capri in Nobel features a covered lanai equipped with a summer kitchen.
The Costa Mesa in Marconi at eTown
ICI Homes is proud to have been one of the first builders in the new community of eTown, located in Jacksonville. In fact, Marconi was the first eTown neighborhood to be built, and our award-winning Costa Mesa was one of the first homes in the community.
The Costa Mesa has perennially been a popular floor plan in several of our communities around the state, and we’re excited that NEFBA (the Northeast Florida Builders Association) recognized it in this year’s parade. The Costa Mesa in Marconi at eTown won the Silver award in the $610-630K price range.
This open floor plan allows for the living room, gourmet kitchen and dining room to be one expansive space sharing plenty of natural Florida sunlight. A quiet cup of coffee can be enjoyed on the covered lanai. The master suite is situated at the rear of the home, featuring a large walk-in closet, double vanities and a roomy walk-in shower.
The Egret V at Magnolia Preserve in Julington Creek
The Egret V was a Parade of Homes award winner for the second year in a row! The Egret V is another hallmark ICI Homes floor plan, which we offer across several of our communities. The elegance and versatility of this plan make it a popular choice. But don’t take our word for it. Ask the many Egret V homeowners, or NEFBA, which awarded this model the Silver award in the $1-1.1M price range during the 2020 Northeast Florida Parade of Homes.
The Egret V in Magnolia Preserve showcases this versatility perfectly. A flex room is located at the front of the house. One of the four bedrooms is outfitted as a craft/sewing room. That bedroom has easy access to one of the two guest baths, making it easy to quickly clean up after a messy art project.

Introducing our final 2020 Northeast Florida Parade of Homes award winner, the Serena in Tamaya. Last but certainly not least, this home received the GOLD award for the $575-590K price range. The Serena is over 2,000 square feet, and features four bedrooms, three baths, and a study.
Outdoor living spaces are a key component of a fantastic Florida lifestyle. The Serena at Tamaya is a perfect example of this! Once you make your way through the elegant foyer with tray ceilings and into the open living and dining room, you are lead out to the extended covered lanai.
