ICI Homes Building “Home from the Heart” for Builders Care
Like lending others a helping hand when they need it? So do we!
ICI Homes is proud to participate in a Builders Care project in one of metro Jacksonville’s newest and most exciting communities — eTown.
This nascent master-planned community on the city’s southeastern flank is just getting started, and ICI Homes is proud to be among its select builders. One of the first homes we’re constructing here is a “Home from the Heart” fundraiser for Builders Care, the non-profit organization that helps elderly and disabled folks in northeast Florida with no-to-low-cost home repairs, construction or reconstruction.
We’re pitching in by building a brand-new eTown home whose sale will generate funds for Builders Care programs. Our vendors and trades are pitching in too — by donating more than $100,000 worth of work, time and materials on this “Home from the Heart.”

Our Costa Mesa plan is a “Home from the Heart”
This floor plan is one of ICI Homes’ most popular choices.
The 2,565-square-foot Costa Mesa is a one-level home with three bathrooms and four bedrooms. It’s a versatile plan that juxtaposes open, easy living spaces with tucked-away bedrooms and baths.
The Costa Mesa also incorporates a flex space near the front that can be anything a homeowner wishes. Think office or extra bedroom. Two bedrooms share a bathroom nearby, while a third bedroom flanks another bathroom toward the back of the house.
The master suite is also at the back, on the opposite side, for further privacy. And everyone can hang out on the covered lanai and savor Florida’s famous outdoor living.
What Builders Care does
They help many people who have few or no options for home repairs and construction.
The organization serves as a contractor, tapping individuals, businesses and volunteers in the homebuilding industry who want to use their talents and resources to help others.
Some typical needs include roof repairs, installing or repairing wheelchair ramps, and all sorts of interior and exterior renovations.

The “Home From the Heart” groundbreaking took place on June 6, 2019, and it sold in late 2019. The profit from its sale was be donated by ICI Homes to Builders Care at a NEFBA event on January 16th, 2020.
But never fear! You can snag a Costa Mesa of your own in eTown.
The PARC Group-developed community is located off State Road 9B near its connection with Interstate 295. eTown is close to everything — shopping, dining, services and major destinations around Jacksonville.
