Residents of our Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club community would agree! Located on 3600 acres in East Central Florida, Plantation Bay is close to shopping, A-rated schools, beaches, restaurants, and state-of-the-art medical facilities.
For those of you who haven’t had the chance to tour the community, here’s a sneak peek into Ormond’s best kept secret.
Here we are at the entrance which is beautifully surrounded by a lush green atmosphere featuring an abundance of trees and elegant landscaping.
A short drive inside you’ll see the gate letting cars in and out. Residents have complete peace of mind living here as both entrances (located in the front and back of the community) are guard gated 24/7.
After being let in at the gate, a short drive down Plantation Bay Drive will take you to the fitness center on the left.
For those of you who live an active lifestyle, this may soon become your favorite part of the community. Featuring state-of-the-art fitness equipment, pool and and a spa, this 6,000 square foot facility offers many benefits to residents who choose to take advantage of these amenities.
The fitness center features Life Fitness strength and cardio equipment which also includes individual television monitors. Personal trainers are available should you wish to participate in one-on-one sessions. If working out in a group atmosphere is your preference, group classes are held in the exercise studio. For your convenience, the fitness center also features a locker room including showers and steam rooms.
Just a few steps outside the fitness center, you can complete your workout with a few laps in the pool or enjoy the weather like a true Floridian. The lake view beyond the pavilion provides a scenic backdrop for social events and private parties that are held here.
Driving further down into the community on Plantation Bay Drive will bring you to Club de Bonmont on the left hand side.
Club de Bonmont offers a traditional atmosphere and complimentary valet service. The multi-level building has two open dining rooms and a back veranda overlooking Lake de Bonmont. From casual dining to weddings, this clubhouse can be used to serve many different private functions.
As you make the drive throughout the community, you’ll notice that you are completely surrounded by 1 of the 3 golf courses Plantation Bay offers.
The Club de Bonmont golf course has been ranked as one of the “Top 50 Florida Golf Courses” and among the “50 Most distinctive Courses in the Southeast U.S.”
Getting back onto Plantation Bay Drive and driving down to Hampstead Lane on the left, you’ll encounter the Prestwick clubhouse.
This clubhouse offers the warm ambiance where residents enjoy socializing out on the patio or in the dining room overlooking the lake.
Because of the large amount of golf cart parking space, the Prestwick clubhouse is a favorite of members coming in from the golf course.
Traveling through 150 acres of pristine forest, the Prestwick golf course offers an outstanding championship test with immaculate playing conditions.
Of course, we couldn’t forget the kids! Take them for a walk down to Prestwick Park where they’ll be able to enjoy play dates at the playground.
Westlake is the newest of the three golf courses at Plantation Bay. The Westlake community also features some of the most beautiful homes in the community. The golf course is still being expanded and plans to open the third club house are set for the near future!
