“A lot of people here don’t have the two-legged children anymore,” Toohey says of Amelia National customers. “They have the four-legged kind and I’d have people come in and say, ‘Where’s Louis?’ So I knew they’d watched the videos.”

“I love my job,” Toohey says. “I love helping people find their home — my buyer is not usually a first-time home buyer — this is not usually their first experience. They’re a little savvier a buyer. Sometimes it’s a dream home or a retirement home, but it’s still fun to work with people, help them select the floor plan, and customize it to fit their needs.”
