Home Shopping in “JAX?” Here’s Where to Build One With Us

Headed for Jacksonville, Florida and in the market for a new home? We’ve got you covered. Not only are we one of the state’s largest homebuilders, we’ve been doing our thing for more than four decades, and “JAX” is one of our longtime stomping grounds.

Jacksonville is a vibrant, growing metropolitan area. It serves as Florida’s northeastern gateway and is home to a major U.S. Navy base, one of the eastern seaboard’s busiest ports and gorgeous Atlantic Ocean beaches.

There are many great reasons to relocate, retire or move here. So, allow us to introduce you to the communities where we build in Jacksonville. If you haven’t done it, grab this helpful brochure from our website. It’ll guide you as we show you where to find us — in almost every corner of “JAX.”

Amelia National Golf & Country Club

This gated enclave sits 30 minutes north of Jacksonville in historic Fernandina Beach. Its centerpiece is a Tom Fazio-Amelia National Tom Fazio Golf Coursedesigned golf course — reason enough to investigate this community and its amenity-rich lifestyle — but the fact it’s 10 minutes from Amelia Island, one of Florida’s choicest beach escapes, is what-are-you-waiting-for incentive.

A few miles east lies the Intracoastal Waterway. Keep going and you’ll run into Amelia’s golden beaches. To the west is Interstate 95, which will take you to downtown Jacksonville and its professional sports, arts and cultural offerings. But if you like city bustle…

Tamaya

This master-planned community is only 12.7 miles southeast of downtown Jacksonville. That’s close enough to make commuting a breeze, yet far enough for suburban quiet.

Sited along Beach Boulevard, an east-west artery, between Kernan and Hodges Boulevards, both north-south arteries, Tamaya places you at a convenient crossroads. Zip six miles west to I-95. Six miles east, and you’re at beautiful Jacksonville Beach.

And did we mention Tamaya’s 10,000-square-foot Resident’s Club? A giant slide? Basketball and tennis courts? A fitness center? Community fitness trails?

Nocatee

Major resident amenities also are on the menu at Nocatee, the United States’ third top-selling community. Like Tamaya, it’s anchored on “JAX’s” southeast side, but Build in Jacksonville Nocatee Communityfurther south, near the town of Ponte Vedra. It’s also a slam-dunk, 10-minute drive to Atlantic beaches.

Surrounded by conservation areas, preserves and myriad outdoor recreation facilities, Nocatee straddles historic ground. Its Twenty-Mile neighborhoods on the northeast side of the community’s once bordered a centuries-old road that linked colonial outposts along the St. Johns River with Spanish-founded St. Augustine to south of modern-day Nocatee. Speaking of history…

Julington Creek

Northeast Florida is soaked in it, with many historic markers calling attention to ancient places.

The fourth metro-Jacksonville community with our footprint is Julington Creek, which once was part of one of the largest 18th-century, British-controlled plantations here. Amazing, right? So is today’s Julington Creek Plantation, a master-planned development located south of “JAX,’ in northwest St. Johns County.

Here’s where you’ll find us building estate homes in the gated Magnolia Preserve neighborhood, near A-rated schools, the latest shopping, dining and services, plus 1,200 acres of preserved nature.
