ICI Homes Wins 4 Awards at the 2021 Northeast Florida Parade of Homes

The NEFBA Parade of Homes, better known as “Parade of Homes Jax” was held April 24th – May 9th. This event gives homebuyers, Realtors, and the general public the opportunity to tour a variety of homes from the best builders in Northeast Florida. The event has been held annually for more than 64 years, and is a tradition that ICI Homes is proud to participate in year after year. After last year’s awards banquet going virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our team was thrilled to be able to attend the awards banquet in person this year.

ICI Homes was the proud recipient of four awards in the 2021 Northeast Florida Parade of Homes, including the prestigious Best of Show award, which was determined based on the highest overall judging score.

ICI Homes entries were available to tour in Tidewater, located in Jacksonville, Amelia National, located in Fernandina Beach, eTown, located in Jacksonville, and Tamaya, also located in Jacksonville.

The Egret V at Tidewater – Best of Show and Gold Award

The Egret V model home in Tidewater was honored with Best of Show, and received the judges’ highest score overall. It was the only model to receive a perfect judges’ score. The Egret V also received a Gold Award for its’ price range.

This home is just over 3,000 square feet, with four bedrooms and three baths. The 12’ ceilings with 13’ trays are one of the most outstanding features of this home. This allows for plenty of large windows that bring in an abundance of natural Florida sunshine. The living room is open to the kitchen, dining area, and breakfast nook. The open concept floor plan is perfect for entertaining. Outside on the screened in lanai, you can enjoy a relaxing view of one of Tidewater’s lakes.

The Cameron in Amelia National – 2021 Parade of Homes Silver Award

The Cameron model home in Amelia National claimed a Silver Award for the $780k-$795k price range. At 2,740 square feet, this three bed, two and a half bath home offers plenty of room for entertaining or relaxing with friends and family. One of the most unique features of this home is the outdoor living space, which features a mini put-put golf course, a fire pit, and a bubbling water feature.

Another popular feature of this home is the sunroom, which is open to the living room through a shared wall with a double-sided fireplace. True to its name, the sunroom offers plenty of large windows, and is the perfect spot to relax and bask in the Florida sunshine (and air conditioning) with a good book. The Cameron is one of a dozen floor plans offered in this Golf and Country Club community.

The Brooke in Tamaya – 2021 Parade of Homes Silver Award

Finally, the Brooke in Tamaya was honored with a Gold Award for the $1M-$1.1M price range. This Tuscan style home features five bedrooms, three and a half baths, a study, and a game room, making it perfect for a growing family. Upon entering the home, one of the first features you’ll notice are the show-stopping two-story bow bay windows in the living room.
