Spooky Meals Halloween treats for the whole family

All Kids love Halloween. It’s the one day of the year they get into their favorite characters or supervillans and have permission from the parents to collect as much candy as they can. So why not start the day with some healthy easy Halloween recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Preparing three meals a day can be hectic for every parent, especially when dressing up your kids for a night of trick or treating is added to the picture. Below is a daily meal plan that you can use that is fun and healthy for the family!

Ghost Toasts (Breakfast)

Take one slice of white bread and cut a ghost shape from it. You can do freehand or you can gingerbread-girl cookie cutter.

When the cutouts have cooled, spread coatings of whipped cream cheese. For the eyes and mouths add currants.

A Mwa-ha-ha-ha Midday Meal (Lunch)

Use a paring knife to cut a sandwich into a skull or fingers.  Add red pepper to for the nails.  To turn Clementine into a jack-o-lantern, press on green fruit leather shapes.

Mummy Meatloaf

Ingredients

Instructions

Make your favorite meatloaf recipe and shape the loaf that resembles a mummy (remember to include the crossed arms.)  Bake until its cooked through.

Let it rest for three minutes, then lay 1-inch-wide strips of American cheese across the body, leaving a narrow space in the head for olive slice eyes. Trim any overhanging cheese and put the mummy into the warm oven so the cheese can melt for only about one minute.
